Do mirrors influence the way slides are perceived to move under the microscope

In a microscope, mirrors reflect the light which comes through the specimen to the lenses and eyepiece. In this process the image is flipped in reverse in the mirror, meaning that the image you see through the eyepiece is the other way around.
