total birds=robbins+blue jays
gabby saw 6+3 or 9 birds
chase saw 3+6 or 9 birdds
9=9 both of them saw the same number of birds

9 birds for Gabrielle and 9 birds for Chase. They have an equal amount!!! How can you see "more birds"?
Answer: No one saw more birds because they both saw the same amount!
