Find the area and perimeter of a square side length of 3m

So lets solve this!

Square has all 4 equal sides, therefore the formula of finding the area would be:

Side × side = S²

Now that we know the formula of the square to find the area, we need to multiply 3 two times

Area = S²
= 3 × 3
= 9m

The area of square is 9m.

The formula to find the perimeter of a square is:

4 × Side = 4s

We just need to multiply 3 by four to get the perimeter of the square.

Perimeter = 4s
= 4 × 3
= 12m

The perimeter of the square is 12m.

Hope I helped :D
