The Apostle Paul appeared before the Jewish Sanhedrin to answer false charges made against him by the Jews.
Because a Roman commander (Centurion) heard about a Jewish plot to kill Paul in Jerusalem, the centurion ordered a group of Roman soldiers to take Paul safely to Caesarea to be tried by governor Felix.
