For football tryouts at a local school, 12 coaches and 42 players will split into groups. Each group have the same number of coaches and players. What is the greatest number of groups that can be formed? How many coaches and players will be in each of these groups?

To do this, we have to find the highest common factor. To do this, you have to do a bit of guess and check by seeing the factors of one number and plugging it into the other - I found 6 to be that.  Dividing 12 by 6, we get 2 coaches per group. Dividing 42 by 6, we get 7 players in one group
