I think you should try to explain why stuff happens, like why it rains or snows, and use an animal to explain it and stuff. For example, you can do a myth about a large magical bird whose chicks are taken and it looks everywhere in the world crying along the way. I guess that can work. You should also do some research about that stuff to be clever and make things tie up. I'm sorry if this is confusing, I'm just new here.
