Density is a value for mass, such as kg, divided by a value for volume, such as m3. Density is a physical property of a substance that represents the mass of that substance per unit volume. To calculate density, we divide the mass with the volume. We do as follows:

Density = 239.2 g / 92 cm^3 = 2.6 g/cm^3

Answer: D = 239.2g/92cm^3 = 2.6g/cm^3

Explanation: Density is defined as the amount of mass in a given volume, where the equation for the density is:

density = (mass)/(volume)

in this case, the mass is m=239.2g and the volume is 92cm^3

then the density is:

D = 239.2g/92cm^3 = 2.6g/cm^3

This means that each square centimeter of obsidian weights 2.6g
