2*2-6=-8
4-6x=-8
+4. +4
-6x=-12
divide -6 on both sides
x=2

2x2-6x= - 8
Simplify both sides
2x(2) = 4x
Combine like terms
4x + (-6x) =-8
-2x = -8
Divide each side by -2
X = 4
