Doesn't X equal 0 because anything times 0 equals 0

Hello,

$3x^3+2x^2-3x-2=0\\ 3x^3-3x+2x^2-2=0\\ 3x(x^2-1)+2(x^2-1)=0\\ (x^2-1)(3x+2)=0\\ (x-1)(x+1)(3x+2)=0\\ Sol=\{- (2)/(3), -1,1 \}$
