Alright, so with a 2x3 table there are six categories. Since there's one variable (gender) that's separated into two, we put those in. In addition, since there are 3 ways to separate how many times people wash their hands every day, we put those in, so it would be something like

Gender Washes hands 1 or less times per day

Male 66

Female 2


Washes hands 2-7 times/day Washes hands 8+ times/day

Since the percentage of females that wash their hands once or less per day is clearly less than the percentage of males that do, as well as that the percentage of females that wash their hands 8+ times a day outweigh the males that do, it's safe to say that females on average wash their hands more
