If the question is about graphing the piecewise-defined function, the attached image shows it.

The graph is in two parts: graph y = 2^x, but use only the part which is to the right of the y-axis (for x > 0), and the other part is the graph of y = |x| which lies to the left of the y-axis (for x < 0).

The open circles are to indicate that the function has no assigned value at x = 0.
