In the given triangle for angle A, the values of the base, hypotenuse, and height are

Base = B = 36

Height = Perpendicular = P = 48

and Hypotenuse = H = 60

The trigonometric functions are given as

\begin{gathered} sin\text{ A = }(perpendicular)/(hypotenuse)=(P)/(H) \\ cosA=(base)/(hypotenuse)=(B)/(H) \end{gathered}

On putting the values we have

\begin{gathered} sinA=(48)/(60)=(4)/(5) \\ cosA=(36)/(60)=(3)/(5) \end{gathered}

Hence, the values of cosA and sinA are 3/5 and 4/5.
