28000 + 3000y = 30000 + 2800y
28000 - 30000 = 2800y - 3000y
-2000 = - 200y
-2000/-200 = y
10 = y.....they will be the same after 10 years

y = 3000x + 28000
y = 2800x + 30000

3000x + 28000 = 2800x + 30000
200x = 2000
x = 10

The salaries will be the same after 10 years.
