Max's car holds 18 gallons of gasoline. Driving on the highway, the car uses a proximally 2 gallons per hour. Let's H represent the number of hours max has been driving on the highway. Write an expression that shows how many gallons of gasoline Max has left after driving h hours

18 - 2(h) = x
He has 18 gallons to start with. Then he loses 2 gallons every hour he is driving. So you would times the two and subtract it from what he has.
