Since we know there are 38 pounds per crate, and there are 100 crates, we can simply multiply 38 by 100.

x38
3800
Using the math above, we can see that the farmer has sold
3800 pounds
of produce.

38 lbs x 100 crates = 38 x 100 = 3800
