In some ecosystems, coyotes prey on white-tailed deer. If the population of white-tailed deer suddenly increased, what would most likely happen to the population of coyotes as the ecosystem regained stability?

It would increase as well, as the increased prey would allow for a higher carrying capacity of coyotes

Answer: The population of coyotes will increase.

Step-by-step explanation:

The population of coyotes depends on the white tailed deer for their food. If the population of white tailed deer will increase then the population of coyotes will also increase.

This is because they there will be more availability of food for the coyotes so none of the coyotes will die because of the lack of resources.

Hence, if the population of white tailed deer will increase then the population of coyotes will also increase.
