Answer:

  • Random Access Memory (RAM)
  • Central Processing Unit (CPU).

Step-by-step explanation:

The motherboard is a printed circuit board that allows the integration of all the components of a computer. For this, it has a basic software known as BIOS, which allows it to fulfill its functions. The motherboard houses the necessary connectors for the processor, RAM, CPU, ports and the rest of the boards (such as the video card or the network card).

In general, it can be said that the CPU is a fundamental component because it has as its main function the execution of the software (that is, the set of instructions that we know as a computer program). The representation of the software is done through a code stored in the computer's memory, which the CPU reads, decodes, executes and finally writes. On the other hand, RAM is very important since it is the place where the orders that should execute devices such as the processor are loaded. Random access is linked to the fact that the temporary waiting period for the execution of an instruction is the same in any position.

The two main components to check with the motherboard that has a problem with it functioning and working is the memory and processor as they are the two components that makes the mother board function correctly and without these, the mother board won’t be working as it normally does.
