Question

Annalise, Torah, and Samantha are cousins. Annalise is 3 years older than Torah, and Samantha is 1 year older than Annalise. If the product of Annalise's and Samantha's ages is 240, how old is Annalise?

Annalise would be 15 while Samantha would be 16. This would also mean Torah is 12. Being that Samantha has to be one year older than Annalise, I guess-and-checked with multiplication until I came upon the right answer. It was easy to assume that they were relatively young because 20x20 equals 400, and 10x10 = 100. So it'd be within the 11-19 range.
