that's the surface area
when he length=L
width=W
and height=H
SA=2(LW+WH+LH)
so
L=14
W=5
H=4
subsitute
SA=2((14)(5)+(5)(4)+(14)(4))
SA=2(70+20+56)
SA=2(146)
SA=292
you need 292 square inches of fabric
