find the greatest number you can divide all of them into without remainder
basically the greatest common factor
factor each and find what is common to al
16=2*2*2*2
20=2*2*5
24=2*2*2*3
the group common to all is 2*2 or 4
the max number of baskets that the clerk can make is 4 baskets
in each, there are 4 oranges, 5 apples and 6 pears
4 baskets
