explain one way that economic development in new england differ from economic development in the chesapeake bay area by the early 18th century

New England at first had help from the Natives and they could grow their food and things like that. The Chesapeake bay are was not as well colonized and the relations with the locals were dreadful. People died by the hundreds and about 75% of the population died out, while the New England colonies had a relatively easy period compared to Chesapeake.
