Use absolute value to describe the relationship between a negative credit card balance and the amount owed.

-$25 balance does not mean you have $25 credit but that you owe $25, the absolute value of -$25. Just like the absolute value of 5 would be -5. its just the opposite.

Negative credit card balance means you owe money from the financial Institution , which is represented by Negative Integer.

Integer={-------,-4,-3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3,4,......}

=Set of Positive Natural numbers ,Natural numbers having Negative sign behind it and Zero included in this set of numbers.

Suppose You owe $2500 from the bank, which means credit card shows negative balance if represented in terms of integers it will be = -2500

Absolute value of any integer is positive.

|x|=|-x|=x

|-2500|=2500

If Amount owed is $ A, Represented in terms of Integer= -A

Absolute Value of |-A|=A
