I got a=2 after using distributive property

7(a-1)=7
7a-7=7
Add 7 on both sides
7a=14
Divide by 7 on both sides
A=2
Check your work-
7(a-1)=7
7(2-1)=7
14-7=7
7=7
A=2 is correct.
So the answer is A=2
