Answer:

1) x+2y=7

+3x-2y=5

2)After adding like terms your answer is

4x-0=12

Divide the left side from the right by 4

and your x= 3.

3)Then add the x value(3) into one of the 2 equations

x+2y=7

3+2y=7, Subtract 3 from the left and right side=7-3=4

2y=4, divide by two and y= 2...

Use the elimination method..Substitute x=3 and y=2 into the second equation and you should come to the same answer...

x+2y=7 everything times (-3)
So it’s gonna be
-3x-6y=-21
3x-2y=5
We remove the (-3x) from the first and (3x) from second
And add everything that’s left
-6y-2y=-21+5
8y(cuz - and - is +)
8y=16
Y=16/8
Y=2
