the ratio of boys to girls are 8 to 7. if there was a total of 195 students, how many boys and girls are there?

Add the values of the ratio.

8+7= 15

Boys: 195/15= 13(8)=104

Girls: 195/15= 13(7)= 91

There are 104 boys and 91 girls. Hope this helps!
