A pallet requires 2 minutes and 15 seconds to prepare for shipment, and 30 seconds to load on a trailer. How long will it take to prepare 40 pallets and load them onto a trailer

I guess the answer is quite flexible, but I will give the most reasonable one: for preparing, each pallet will take 2 minutes and 15 seconds, and we could wait until all 40 pallets are prepared together and load them at once which cost 30 more seconds, or you could think it's a pipeline which works different but get the same result which is 90 minutes and 30 seconds.

2 min 15 sec + 30 sec = 2 minutes 45 seconds per pallet

2 minutes 45 seconds

45seconds divided by 60 seconds = 0.75

so 2.75 minutes per pallet

2.75 x 40 = 110 minutes

110/60 = 1.833 hours = 1 hour and 50 minutes
