Determine the value of k that partitions a segment into a ratio of 1:4

I believe this question is missing a drawing or something, however, I'll just tell you how to solve these types of questions.

Now suppose that you have a line segment AB and you want to place a point k on this segment such that Ak is 1/4 kB.
To do so, you simply measure the length of AB and divide this length by 5. Point k will be placed at a distance 1/5 of the the length of AB from the point A.

An example to better illustrate this is as follows:
Suppose that the length of AB is 5 cm. We will divide this length by 5. This will give us a distance of 1 cm.
Therefore, point k will be placed at a distance 1 cm from point A.
Based on this, you will find that Ak is 1 cm while kB is 4 cm which satisfies the partitioning condition of the problem.
