Answer:

You can choose any two items and find the unit price for both.

1. Lets say we have a cereal box of brand ABC of 500 grams priced at $10.

So, we can find the unit price as:

per gram will cost =
(10)/(500) = 0.02 dollars per gram

2. Lets say we have a cereal box of brand XYZ of 500 grams priced at $13.50.

per gram will cost =
(13.50)/(500) = 0.027 dollars per gram

We can compare that per gram of cereal is costly for XYZ brand.

Hence, based on price alone, we can consider buying cereal from brand ABC.

You can easily find different brands of a certain grocery item in your nearest grocery store. For example, you can find different brands of ice cream. Among them, there is Dairy Queen and Hersheys. You can search the prices on your own. Now, to decide which of them you would buy, two factors may be considered: quality and quantity. It is up to your preference. If both are delicious for you, choose the cheaper one. If one tastes better than the other one, choose the product with a better quality.
