Dividing in unit form

9 ten thousand = 9 × 10000 = 90000

90000 ÷ 10 = 9000

Dividing the sum in Standard Form

90000 = 9 × 10⁵
10 = 10¹

[9 × 10⁵] ÷ 10¹ = 9 × 10⁴
