-4(2x-6)=-(4x-9)-2x+3
First, you multiply -4 by 2x and -6: -8x+24=-(4x-9)-2x+3 is what you will get. Then, you would do the same thing to the other side...since there isn't a number in front of the parenthesis its concidered as -1, so you would multiply -1 by 4x and -9 to get: -8x+24=-4x+9-2x+3
Then, you would add -4x to -2x to get -6x. Then you would add 9 and 3 to get 12: -8x+24=-6x+12. Then, you would add 6x on both sides: -2x+24=12. Then you would subtract 24 on both sides to get, -2x=-12. Then, you would divide both sides by -2 and your answer would be 6. x=6
