\bf 60=10√(y-3)\implies \cfrac{60}{10}=√(y-3)\implies 6=√(y-3) \\\\\\ \textit{now, we simply raise both at }^2 \\\\\\ (6)^2=(√(y-3))^2\implies 36=y-3\implies 36+3=y\implies 39=y
