Explanation:

The given equation is 3x² + 4x -6 = 0

Since the equation is in the form of ax² + bx + c = 0

Therefore solution of the equation will be


x=\frac{-b\pm \sqrt{b^(2)-4ac}}{2a}=(-4\pm √(16+72))/(6)


=(-4\pm √(90))/(6)=(-4\pm 9.49)/(6)


x=0.92 Or
x=-2.25

Therefore either x = 0.92 is the answer or x = -2.25 is the answer.
