The "Arrive Alive" Campaign in South Africa is a road safety platform for reporting bad and hazardous driving. Since 2000, the South African Government's Department of Transportation has funded the construction of pedestrian crossways above highways to eliminate the number of fatalities caused by people crossing highways, in addition to this, they have also supported drivers through constructing emergency telephones at the side of the roads for drivers who break down.
