The city of Smyrna has a flea population that has been doubling every year. If there are about 100,200 fleas this year, how many will there be 3 years from now? Indicate the step where a variable is defined, the equation used to solve, and the final answer.

Simple way to answer is each year it's doubled so starting with 100,200 next year would be 200,400 second year would be 400,800 third year would be 900,600
