Perimeter = 2L + 2W = 48 WHERE L=length and W=width

The length must be longer than the width so im going to say that L = W + 5

so the equation is

2(W + 5) + 2W = 48

2W + 2W + 10 = 48

4W = 38

W = 38/4 = 9.5 ins and

length = 5+9.5 = 14.5 ins
