Percent full = (Current volume in tank)/(capacity of the tank) *100

= ((12/15)*100)

= 80.00%

if it holds 15 gallons and it has twelve it would be 12/15 full

12 divided by 15 = 0.8, which equals 80%

so it is 80% full
