5p^2 / 5p^3 = p^2 / p^3
(the 5 gets cancelled as it is common)
p^2 / p^3 = 1 / p
as p^2 / p^3 is same as p*p / p*p*p
(2 p's are common in the denominator and the numerator, so it is cancelled out)
We are then left with 1 / p

Hope it helped!

Answer:

The simplified form of the given expression is,

(1)/(p)

Explanation:

Given expression,

5p² over 5p³

\implies (5p^2)/(5p^3)

=(p^2)/(p^3)

=p^2* p^(-3) (
a^n=(1)/(a^(-n)) )

=p^(2-3) (
a^m.a^n=a^(m+n) )

=p^(-1)

=(1)/(p)

Since, further simplification is not possible,

Hence, the simplified form of the given expression is,

(1)/(p)
