Carbon dioxide (CO2) gas is responsible for controlling the temperature of the Earth. It absorbs the infrared radiations emitted by Earth and then re emit it there by trapping the heat inside the Earth’s atmosphere and raising the temperature as a result of Green House Gas Effect. CO2 is responsible for making the Earth Warm and this produces adverse impacts on the biotic components of the Earth, causes the ice to melt and raise the sea level etc.
