find the vertex. which is (-3,-5) the plug it into the equation y=a(x-h)^2+k
the equation would be Y= (x+3)^2-5 :)

Answer:

(x+3)^2-5

Explanation:

Given is a quadratic equation as

x^2+6x+4

To complete the square we have to suitably add and subtract a term depending on the coefficient of x.

Here coefficient of x =6 and coefficient of x square =1

Hence we have to add (6/2)^2=9 to make it a perfect square

x^2+6x+4\\x^2+6x+9-5\\=(x+3)^2-5

Now we completed the square and made it in vertex form

Vertex is (-3,-5)

and

f(x) =(x+3)^2-5
