to divide 2 by by a massive 1571, you will need to add a decimal point in your division

assuming you know how long division works (let me know if you don't)

when setting out, you could write:

0.00127
1571 ) 2.00000
1 571
---------
4290
3142
--------
11480
10997
...etc. to how many decimal points you need.

All I did was add zeroes (which would normally be invisible) to the end of the 2 after a decimal points, and matched that to the top, in the answer, so it's like dividing 2.000 by 1.571 instead

for each extra decimal point, i added another zero to the end of the 2, and brought it down in the long division process

let me know the setting out isn't clear enough

hope it helps :)
