Solve for x. 1.6m – 0.2 = 3

If you add 0.2 to both sides, you get:
1.6m - 0.2 + 0.2 = 3 + 0.2
which simplifies to
1.6m = 3.2
dividing both side by 1.6 gives you
1.6m= 3.2
1.6 1.6

so m = 2
