To Find the Area of a Square
(Since it's a square all sides are equal)
1. multiply the L*W which for a square is two of the same numbers (ex: 13*13)
2. Then put the units at the end (ex: feet, square units, cubic feet, inches)

Area = length x width
With a square, all 4 sides are the same length. So, multiply.
A = 13 x 13
A = 169 yd sq
