What is the profit when 50 items sold.

Here as we can see that the profit when 20 items sold is $80 because is we substitute x=20 we get


f(20)=3(20)+20=60+20=80

similarly for 40 items take x=40 we get


f(40)=3(40)+20=140

but here we need x=50 we we get


f(50)=3(50)+20=170
