dur, so notice we can reverse distribute
ab+ac=a(b+c)


in this case, a=(3y-4)
so
(3y-4)y²+(3y-4)7=(3y-4)(y²+7)

First, factor the (3y-4) and group the remaining terms
y²(3y-4) +7 (3y-4)
(y²+7)(3y-4)
