360 minutes because 12 times 12= 144 and you'd multiply 30 by 12 because you'd bake 12 cupcakes every 30 minutes.

Set up a proportion.
12 cupcakes/ 0.5 hrs= 144 cupcakes/ x hrs
12*12=144
0.5*12=6=x
Final answer: 6 hrs
