it's easier to show it
24 and 32
gcf is found by multiplying their factors, only the common factors
24=2*2*2*3
32=2*2*2*4
gcf=8
and the lcm is found by gropuing all the factors not repeating the ones common to both
so lcm will be 2*2*2*3*4 or 96

GCF
= Finds the greater factors between two numbers or more. LCM
is finding the two smallest numbers in common between numbers.
