Perimeter (P) = 276 yards

Length (l) = 76 yards

Width (w) = ?

We know that,

P = 2*(l + w)

276 = 2*(76 + w)

76 + w = 138

w = 62

Hence, the width is 62 yards.

P = 2(L + W)
P = 276
L = 76

276 = 2(76 + W)
276 = 152 + 2W
276 - 152 = 2W
124 = 2W
124/2 = W
62 = W <=== the width is 62 yds
