Gien:
Wave length, λ = 8.0 m
Amplitude, A = 1.65 m
Velocity, v = 4 m/s
By definition,
v = fλ
where f = the frequenct.
Therefore
f = v/λ
= (4 m/s)/(8 m)
= 0.5 Hz
Answer: The frequency is 0.5 Hz.
