the x intercept is where the line crosses the x axis or where y and z=0
the y intercept is where the line crosses the y axis or where x and z=0
the z intercept is where the line crosses the z axis or where x and y=0
note: the points are written in (x,y,z) form

so

x intercept
y=z=0
x-5y-z=-10
x=-10
x intercept is at x=-10 or the point (-10,0,0)

y intercept
x=z=0
x-5y-z=-10
-5y=-10
y=2
y intercept is at y=2 or the point (0,2,0)

z intercept
x=y=0
x-5y-z=-10
-z=-10
z=10
z intercept is at z=10 or the point (0,0,10)

x intercept is at x=-10 or the point (-10,0,0)
y intercept is at y=2 or the point (0,2,0)
z intercept is at z=10 or the point (0,0,10)
