if he saves $ 8 each week...and his mom is giving him 0.25 for each dollar, then he will have (8 + 0.25(8)) = 8 + 2 = $ 10 per week
10w = 100.....with w being the number of weeks
w = 100/10
w = 10...so he will have it in 10 weeks <==
